①A new study has found that taking a walk in the woods has measurable health benefits.Research conducted by Tokyo Professor Yoshifumi Miyazaki shows that ②spending time in nature can lower your blood pressure and decrease stress hormones for days following your forest walk.According to Lifehacker. ③Dr. Miyazaki's research has shown that keeping a plant in your home or workplace can also offer health benefits.Dr. Miyazaki's current research includes examining whether a VR simulation of a forest can give some of the same benefits.

your blood pressure and decrease stress hormones
for days following your forest walk

This disregard has continued even in these unprecedented times. As economist Betsey Stevenson pointed out to Politico,"We gave less money to the entire childcare sector than we gave to one single airline, Delta."The U.S. also ranks 26th in the world for access to preschool for 4-year-olds, and 24th for 3-year-olds.But access to early childhood education rarely becomes a top policy priority. The implication is clear: Mom will take care of it.
