Dear Fellow Students,
Our class is going to hold a charity sale for the kids in need of help on Sep 15th, 2013. As the host of this event, I sincerely hope that all of you can participate in.
One thing you can do for the kids is to contribute the things that you don’t need as many as possible for the sale. All the profit we make is going straight to the kids immediately. We would need some help at the sale to set up the tables and chairs as well.
There is a famous Chinese saying which inspired us to hold this event: “Gifts of roses, hand there are lingering fragrance.”I am positive that you won’t regret to donate your strength to help the kids.

The statistics of students taking part-time jobs in a certain university has been clearly revealed by the column chart. There has been a steady increase from 67.77% to 71.93% for students holding temporary jobs from freshmen to juniors according to the survey, while the percentage of seniors working part-time jumped to 88.24%.
Part-time job has the potential negative affect to college students’ studies while it can also be a good force for their academic careers. Becoming a drain on the their time is the most obvious way that having a part-time job can adversely affect students’ studies. Reducing the perceived incentive to study is another way that part time employment can be detrimental to students. There are also some potential benefits offered despite presenting certain pitfalls by working part-time during one’s college years. For example, it can help students to understand their preferences better or to try out a possible career path. In addition, companies seeking to recruit recent grads will give preference to those with real-world experience.
In conclusion, the student’s ability to maintain focus and balance his or her own time decides the impact of a part-time job on student’s academic career. The job is certain to yield a positive impact, if students are able to effectively manage their time and secure a part-time position in a field related to their studies or interests.
